Roy Henry Vickers is one of Canada’s most celebrated Indigenous artists, renowned for his powerful storytelling and vibrant artwork that bridges traditional Northwest Coast art with contemporary expression. Of Tsimshian, Haida, Heiltsuk, and British heritage, Roy's work is deeply rooted in the rich cultural traditions of his ancestors and reflects a profound connection to the natural world.

A printmaker, painter, carver, and speaker, Roy has received numerous honours for his artistic and cultural contributions, including the Order of British Columbia and the Order of Canada. His iconic images—often characterized by bold forms, serene landscapes, and spiritual symbolism—have resonated with audiences worldwide.
