“Eagle Heart is another of those magic-inspired creations that come along one day. This one came thinking of Valentine’s Day, 2012. It was inspired by comments from fans about a Valentine’s design that I had previously created.

"Eagles mate for life and are a symbol of vision. The courtship and mating ritual of the eagle is breathtaking when you see them lock talons high in the sky and spin to the earth in this incredible aerial dance. They eventually separate to rise to even greater heights and do the dance all over again. These were the thoughts that inspired this creation. I wanted something different for a Valentine image this year, and out of this desire came Eagle Heart.” – Roy Henry Vickers
