Earlier this month, NoMiNoU made its runway debut as part of Vancouver Fashion Week’s F/W 2018 Season — and we’re excited to give you a look at all of the runway action!
When we were first invited to attend Vancouver Fashion Week (VFW), we felt certain it would be the perfect opportunity to unveil our Essence Collection. Since VFW is among the only industry events to actively seek out international designers from over 25 global fashion capitals, we knew that we would be in good company.
Since its inception 17 years ago, VFW has operated with a firm belief in being a well-grounded local initiative with global reach, which is what we at NoMiNoU are all about too! Our brand is produced locally (NoMiNoU is completely designed and manufactured in Canada), and we work with artists from around the globe to highlight the beauty of all cultures. And we did exactly that at VFW when we presented our Essence Collection for the first time!
With our brand ambassador Kamantha Naidoo leading the tribe down the runway, our Essence Collection was on full display — with prints designed by NoMiNoU, featuring art by our founder’s late mother Naomi and from artists Mark Gauti, Ella Taylor and Eric Parnell.

What a show! NoMiNoU's runway debut at Vancouver Fashion Week was an incredible experience and we're grateful to everyone who helped make this happen!
